JBN.CO.ID ■ Today, Monday (10/21), the Regent of North Luwu, Indah Putri Indriani inaugurated the Palm Oil Factory owned by PT. Surya Sawit Sejahtera.
The factory, located in Patila Village, Tanalili District, was built on 42.3 hectares of land.
According to the Director of PT. Sawit Sejahtera, Ruslie Cahyana, this palm oil mill was built at a cost of Rp. 104 billion on an area of 42.3 hectares.
From the results of the two-week trial production of 45 tons tbs / hour, if the working time is 14 hours / day it will produce 630 tons.
The Palm Oil Mill has 80 workers with a composition of 50 local people and 30 company experts.
It is expected that the Palm Oil Mill will prosper palm farmers in North Luwu.
